The best Tortas in the world bros and sisters. I am a 41 yr old Mexicano. I have been blessed with skills that afforded me the ability to travel around the world. Gracias a Dios. I could not count how many tortas gorditas tacos etc i have had in my life time. In Mexico all over the USA. Trust me familia bros snd sisters do not miss out on the chance to try their amazing items. I remember when my wife and I bought our townhouse 6 yrs ago. And the first thing we look for is amazing breakfast and bakery spots. I remember when they were just opening the bakery across from the grocery store and now they have a full menu of items to choose from. The inside and the product and employees have only gotten better and thats awesome for the community the town and everyone else. Its sad that usually places are really good or good enough and then they start to lose their sexyness not with our primos tia's and tio's here. We have been coming here for yrs and we are moving to Florida in 2 months. This place La Chicanita is a gem or pearl of the town i hope it stay and lasts forever. If you havent been you must come. Such a good and amazing bakery 🧁 I always get my tres leches cakes 🍰 from here for my birthday parties and they always do amazing, they are always so good and delicious. Gerardo is always amazing he is so friendly and makes sure my cake orders come out just as I order them he is super awesome!! If you’re looking for sweet bread 🥖 this is the place there breads are super yummy and fresh!! One thing I really like about this bakery is that the staff is really welcoming and is always willing to help which is rare nowadays in some places. Overall, I definitely recommend this bakery you will not be disappointed. One of the best bakeries in Aurora!!

I had order a cake and it wasn’t ready by the time of pick up, I was told that it was going to be ready in 10 minutes, so I waited. 25 minutes later and they came out with it finished but no box, they took it back and I still waited 10 more minutes. The cakes are good but the service was a bit not so good.

Great place!! The smell alone is a win. Pastries are spot-on, especially the conchas and the muffins. Perfect spot for a tasty Mexican treat. Highly recommend.

If you have never been to a Mexican bakery, it's definitely worth a try. So many varieties and always great service. The only downside is that many times you don't know what you're picking up from the shelves. Just go ahead and try one of each ☺️
